Local Love: Old King's
Hi! First of all, thanks for stopping by the PS Blog!
We are so excited to share ALL things Cape Cod living perfectly blended up with our latest social media and digital marketing tips. On the blog you’ll be able to learn a little more about what makes our team tick, while discovering some serious marketing tips along the way.
First up, our latest local obsession: Old King’s Coffeehouse.
Old King's Coffeehouse opened this past year in 2019 by two Cape Cod locals, Mark & Kate Corliss. {If you’re a local, you likely know Mark from his incredible work at Spilt Milk Tattoo!} Seeing the need for a locally owned coffeehouse in the area — THANK YOU, thank you!— the Corliss' went to work to bring incredible coffee and handcrafted food to the local community in a place that truly feels like home.
From the moment you walk inside you’re treated like a friend. From the gracious baristas to the cozy and abundant seating, Old King’s is the perfect place to snag a snack on-the-go {my husband and I are partial to the breakfast sandwiches, the homemade English muffins are to die for!} or settle in to work, alongside a coffee and free Wi-Fi.
What initially attracted me was the drool-worthy IG photos Old King’s was posting of their specialty donuts. S’mores, PB &J, Oreo, Butterfinger, Maple Bacon…say what?! We don’t see handcrafted beauties like this around here often! The holiday flavors were even better, my favorite being the crunchy Chocolate Peppermint.
And if you know anything about me, you know I am a self proclaimed COFFEE QUEEN. I don’t drink it for the caffeine {unless it’s a Monday, than pass the Americano please!}, I just love coffee. And good coffee at that. I drink my coffee black, so I value fresh beans and unique roasts, which Old King’s easily delivers. I won’t pass up a creamy almond milk latte either, so I’ve become a fast fan of Old King’s seasonal creations and am always refreshing the ‘gram to see the weekly donut specials and new drinks.
